I’m originally from Colorado, where I found a love for the outdoors and small town living. I moved to England and South Wales after high school and spent two years exploring industrial cities and open countrysides. Once at university back in the states and inspired by the fashion I saw overseas, I founded a men’s accessory brand called Sir Wylde. For the first time I built a real brand, established cut and sew manufacturing, learned the real in and outs of running a company, and sold the company when I was a senior.
After selling Sir Wylde and graduating from college, I decided to fulfill a lifelong desire of mine to serve in the military. I commissioned as an officer in the United States Marine Corps in early 2018 and served to the best of my ability for the following four years.
Throughout my time in the military I continued to keep a pulse on branding, marketing, photography, and video when time would allow. On weekends and late into the evening, I was able to create memorable projects and work with great athletes, brands, and people.
In March of 2022 I finished my military commitment and seized my newfound freedom by traveling to the Hawaiian Islands, Mexico, Costa Rica, the Galapagos Islands, and Brazil. I stayed in hostels, ate all kinds of foods, dove with sharks, took thousands of photos, and loved every minute of it.
Once returning from my travels, I started to look for new opportunities and was fortunate to land an in-house position at The Surfer’s Journal. Also around this time, I was selected as an Adobe Advocate Artist and received a grant to bring a project to life. I decided to tell the stories of six different Veterans around the states and called the project, “After the Uniform”.
Around 2025, I left The Journal to start my own agency, Stag Media, where I continue to work with amazing brands today.
I have a passion for storytelling, brand building, business strategy, travel, the ocean, diverse cultures, and authentic people.
